Medical & Aesthetic Clinics
Dependable technology around clinical and practice operations.
Private doctors, medical centres, physiotherapy, opticians and aesthetic clinics rely on patient-record, booking and communication systems alongside specialist workstations and devices. We support the technology around clinical operations — access, connectivity, protection, backup and continuity — and coordinate vendors, without making regulated healthcare claims.
Context
What we see in medical & aesthetic clinics
Private clinics sit in an awkward middle. You carry the technology dependencies of a healthcare provider — patient records, booking, specialist devices, secure documents — without the IT department a hospital has behind it. Most of the time that works, because the systems are stable and the team knows their quirks. It stops working the moment somebody leaves, a device fails, or a supplier changes something without warning.
We take on the technology around clinical operations: the patient-record and booking platforms, the workstations attached to specialist equipment, the network and remote access, the mailboxes and the backups. At onboarding we document what exists — including the parts held in one person’s head — so the clinic is no longer dependent on a single memory. After that we run it: monitoring, patching, endpoint protection, access reviews and a defined escalation path with your software vendors.
Where regulation is involved we are deliberately careful about what we claim. We implement and document technical and organisational controls and can evidence what is in place; we do not certify healthcare compliance, validate medical devices or take responsibility for clinical decisions, and we will point you to qualified specialists where that is what you actually need.
Failure points
What typically goes wrong
Specialist devices with fragile drivers
Diagnostic and aesthetic equipment often depends on a specific workstation build, an old driver, or a machine nobody dares update. We document those dependencies and manage change around them rather than discovering them mid-failure.
Patient data spread across tools
Records in one platform, scans on a share, consent forms in a mailbox. We map where information actually lives, tighten access to it by role, and make sure all of it is covered by a backup that has been tested.
Remote access added in a hurry
Access set up quickly for one doctor tends to become the way everyone works. We replace ad-hoc remote access with something managed, authenticated and reviewable.
No agreed definition of urgent
Without response expectations in writing, everything becomes an emergency and nothing gets prioritised. We agree what a clinic-stopping fault is and how it escalates before you need to use it.

Responsible scope
Technical support for the systems surrounding clinical and practice operations. No guaranteed healthcare compliance, medical-device certification or clinical validation is claimed.
Questions
Good to know
Can you help with data-protection controls?
We help implement and document technical and organisational controls. Legal interpretation and formal certification should be obtained from qualified specialists.
Do you take responsibility for clinical systems?
We support the technology around them — access, connectivity, protection, backup and continuity — and coordinate with the vendor. Clinical validation and clinical decisions remain with your clinicians and the software supplier.
Our equipment supplier says the workstation cannot be touched. Is that a problem?
It is common and it is workable. We record the constraint, isolate the machine appropriately, and agree with you and the supplier what can be patched, what cannot, and how the risk is contained in the meantime.
What happens if a system goes down mid-clinic?
You call one number and we work the fault, including with your software vendor where the fix sits on their side. Response expectations are agreed in advance so nobody is negotiating priority during an outage.
Can you support a clinic with several locations?
Yes. Each site is documented separately — systems, devices, connectivity, vendors — with support and reporting handled across the group.
